Under fire
At least 52 people have died at the hands of ICE since January 2025. At least 12 of those people have been killed by bullets fired by ICE agents. The most recent victim died just today. The victims include not only undocumented migrants but also people with valid pending paperwork, residents, and citizens. Everyone is at risk. Where is justice? How much longer will American society continue to tolerate such impunity for masked gunmen?

Trump’s latest message to the nation contained nothing new. He simply regurgitated the same lies about the 2020 election that everyone is already tired of hearing, conveniently ignoring—as always—that if anyone tried to subvert the will of the people back then, it was none other than himself. A few weeks ago, I shared some photos of his originals that I had the opportunity to admire at the University of Virginia. Here are more photos of that visit so you can appreciate in detail the skill, biting wit, and genius of this giant of American cartooning—who, let me remind you, because there are those who conveniently forget, was also an immigrant.
Well, that’s all for this week. Thanks to our new subscribers—I hope you’ll share this link with your friends to help this community keep growing. See you next time!
