Epstein and that "difference" thing
Megyn Kelly made headlines for commenting on a podcast, with no evidence other than having heard it from “someone very, very close to the case,” about an alleged “difference” in the ages of Epstein’s victims as an argument that apparently seeks to cast doubt on whether or not he was a pedophile. This despicable argument, in addition to being questionable in itself, deliberately ignores the fact that, regardless of any small age difference that may or may not have existed between them, ALL of these girls were victims of the minor sex trafficking market.
Napoleonic whims
In Animal Farm, Napoleon is an authoritarian and opportunistic leader who arbitrarily alters the rules, deceives the other inhabitants of the farm, insults them, and enslaves them with the promise of wealth that he alone enjoys. Where does the fable written by George Orwell 80 years ago end, and where does our current reality begin?… Here is an exclusive cartoon about it. Just click in the image below:
From the archive
From time to time, on social media, a fanatic of the current president will try to discredit your work with the classic line, ‘Why are you drawing these things now?! Where were you when the previous president was doing what he was doing?!’ The answer is that I was doing what I always do: criticizing what deserves criticism.
This is the cartoon I drew when Biden met with Mohammed bin Salman, at a time when investigations by American intelligence agencies had already pointed his involvement in the brutal murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi…
…And this is the one I just drew of current president Trump and that same guy…
Before and now, it is inexcusable to treat such a questionable character in any way other than condemnation and demands for justice for such an atrocious crime.
Something else
I am deeply grateful to those who have subscribed to my Substack so far, and I ask you to help me spread the word to grow this community. Very soon, I will be opening up the possibility for you to show your support financially as well. (Thank you to the readers who have already offered to do so.) I am still undecided between a donation model with all content open or a subscription model offering exclusive content for those who decide to support me. Or perhaps a combination... I don’t know yet, but I will decide in a matter of days. I invite you to send me your recommendations on this matter. I’m sure some of you know more about this stuff than I do.
