Mitch McConnell’s prolonged absence has sparked a myriad of theories about his health, his ability to continue serving in office, and even whether he is still alive. The few, rather questionable signs of life—coupled with a suspicious silence from those around him—have fueled a wide range of theories about the causes and consequences of his absence. His constituents and the country as a whole deserve to know the truth, and they do not seem to be getting it.

Something else

Although I also paint physiognomic caricatures, I don’t do it very often—especially when it comes to caricatures of people outside the news and political sphere. So this is one of the exceptions: it’s a caricature of Shirley Ann Manson, the lead singer of the rock band Garbage. I remember this caricature received some kind of recognition somewhere, but the details escape me now. Anyway, enjoy it.
